I had a really bad night last night. Actually, it started in the late afternoon when I noticed pain every time I went to the bathroom, not bad, yet, but enough to make me think “uh oh”. Sure enough by dinner time I was positive I had a raging bladder infection. It’s the third one I’ve had spread out over my nearly 40 years, so I know it’s not anything more serious, but it’s also pretty distinctive. It’s kind of like childbirth. The reality of the pain dims in your mind between children, but once you’re in labor you think, “how the heck could I have forgotten how bad this is?” In fact I was up all night pacing back and forth, just like I was about to give birth. I would never recommend anyone else do this, but back around Christmas, my daughter stepped on a nail at my mother’s house that the roofers must have dropped. The antibiotics the doctor prescribed cost me $75 out of pocket, and after the first one, she refused to take them! So in desperation last night I took two (one around 7 and the second at 3 this morning) and I’m feeling so much better already. When I got up this morning, I was cringing in anticipation of the pain, and the pain didn’t come, just a mild discomfort. Man are those pills good! They should be for what I paid for them. lol So as soon as I get the kids off to school in another 20 minutes, I’m heading back to bed.
I did scrap a few LOs last night before things got really bad. These are all from our second day at the pool, when my mom and other sister came up to visit. If the pool looks different from my last series of LOs, it is. They had to change reservations at the last minute due to a work schedule thing, and they weren’t able to accommodate them at the first hotel, so they had to switch to Port Orleans French Quarter. I still think Port Orleans Riverside is prettier. It has a more gentile charm, while French Quarter has all the garishness of New Orleans at Mardi Gras. The kids still had a great time and at least I have a different backdrop for my photos.
This first LO is made from Tropical Fun by Anita Designs (aka Nana’s Attic). I didn’t originally intend it that way, but it worked out perfectly to use for the Ad Challenge at Digi by Designs. I was actually to busy to participate in any of the ad challenges listed here in my blog, so I was happy to get one completed.
The next LO is made from Noces a Maurice by Miss Vivi. And the third one combines both of these kits. The paper and frames are by Miss Vivi and the border, tag and doodles by Anita. The font in that one is Harrington.
Okay, let’s see if I can find anything good for you today. Here’s what the SAS-y Ladies have for you:
| Sherah has this cute bubbles template. If I feel better after my nap, I’m going to use this today. |

Lisa has this beautiful Mellow Breeze mini kit available. These colors look so pretty together. |
I must be looking too early, because that’s all I have for now. The kids are gone, I stopped by and made sure my 82 year old neighbor made it through another night (my dh asks how I’d handle it if, God forbid she didn’t, and I know I’d freak out completely), and I’m going back up to bed. Oh, but first I need another trip to the bathroom, and I’m dreading it. Until later, happy scrapping.

I scrapped some more. These are the last two layouts taken at Port Orleans Riverside. I have more photos to scrap though. Three days later my mother and other sister arrived to join in the fun, so back to the pool we went. But by then they’d switched hotels to Port Orleans French Quarter because when they booked they couldn’t get adjoining rooms at Riverside. So it’s a different pool with different scenery.
This one will actually be the first of the series when I print it in my mom’s book for Christmas. Ssshh, the book’s a secret. I guess it’s a good thing Mom doesn’t read my blog. lol. The kit is Morning Glory by Raspberry Road Designs, and those great torn photo templates are by Digitreats. They might still be available on her blog, so either scroll down my freebie lists a bit, or go to her blog and look for them. The font is Bradley Hand ITC.
This second one uses CanDesigns Charley’s World kit. It’s an older freebie from her blog, so have absolutely no idea if you can still get it, or if she has it for sale somewhere. I really wanted to make those round frames look like inner tubes, but I couldn’t figure out how.
I’m not sure if I’m getting pickier or if there are a lot less freebies this week. I think everyone is just busy enjoying the last week of summer. The SAS-y Ladies have some goodies for you though:

![]() |
| You can get the next part of Feelin’ SAS-y on JulieO.’s blog | And you can pick up the bonus for free in the Freebie Area of the forum. |

Pamela at Digitreats has this fun Kid’s Work kit on her blog. |
While you’re getting the Feelin’ SAS-y bonus off the forum, make sure you sign up for the Stone Accents Studio newsletter. To do that, just make sure you’ve got your preferences set to receive email from the administrators. You’ll want to be sure to sign up before the Grand Opening because it’s the only way to receive the newsletter freebies. You really, really want to get in on these. There will be a goodie from each and every designer! If you need help making sure your settings are correct, read this thread.
Other Freebies:
| Pamela Gibson has this simply adorable Autumn Delights Sampler available. | ![]() |

Debi at Cafe Digi has The Bistro for you. The preview obviously doesn’t show everything, since it says there are 4 papers, 4 mats and 4 frames. |
Or maybe I’m just a fool. I’ve got more layouts to show off. My sister spent a week at Disney with her children and we spent a day with them at the hotel pool. This first one is my absolute favorite LO I’ve ever done. The kit is Life’s a Beach, which Plain Digital Wrapper gave out when they hosted a leg of the Amazing Digi-Scrap Race. It was created by Betsy Tuma, Cindy L. Irvine, Donna Rafferty & Rebecca Lynn. The font is a new favorite of mine, Tale Crafter and this wonderful template was created by Seestern Silvya Markwardt at Moo Two Designs.
This next one is made with the same kit. The template is by Laura Moody, and it’s the template for the August Template Challenge at Digi by Design. Can I be honest? I didn’t like the template at first glance. Once I worked with it though, I realized it was a lot cooler than I thought. I really like how this came out. The font here is Sunset.
This final one, for now since I still have more pictures to scrap, is from around the resort, Port Orleans Riverside. If you’re ever planning a trip to Disney, this is my absolute favorite resort of all time. It’s one of the moderate hotels, so the price is slightly higher than one of the All Star hotels, but still much lower than the next tier (which includes the Contemporary and Grand Floridian), and the grounds are stunningly beautiful. I can just walk around and absorb the atmosphere and be perfectly content. Which come to think of it, is what I was doing when I snapped some of these pictures. The kit is Old Newspaper by Raspberry Road Designs, the font is 1942 Report, and I actually worked without a template for a change. Is it just me or does anyone else feel lazy when they work with a lot of templates? Oh, I nearly forgot, the pin is by Amy Watson and the hearts are by Jessica Gorny, both are recolored. This LO is for the Grab Bag challenge at Happy Scrapz. If you’re interested in this and other challenges, be sure to check out the challenge pages on the side of my blog for a list and links to the challenges. Don’t wait though because most end on Saturday.
Speaking of not waiting, don’t wait to go sign up at the Stone Accents Studios Forum and make sure you have your preferences set to receive email from the Administrators. I got more freebie previews in my email today to include in the newsletter and you won’t want to miss these. If you’re not signed up by the time the newsletter is sent out, you’ll be too late.
Everybody must be busy enjoying the last week of summer, because there hasn’t been much to download, but some of the SAS-y Ladies have goodies for you:

Digitreats has the first part of her Back to School elements. |
| Sherah at SKrapper Digitals has a little Black-Eyed Susan kit for you. | ![]() |

Can I add pictures in Word Press today? That is the question. I have so, so many layouts to show you that I think I’ll have to split it up so as not to bore you. As my partner Chelsea rightly commented, “now I can scrap other stuff.” I loved the race, don’t get me wrong, and I’ll definitely be playing again when it starts up in January for the third installment, but it really did hamper my other scrapping. Again, Chelsea put it best when she said, “I couldn’t do other scrapping because I felt guilty that I didn’t do my race layouts yet.” So now that I don’t have to make race layouts, I can scrap for fun.
Here are three of the LOs I completed this week. The kit for all of them is Declan by Sherri Tierney. It’s one of the kits I purchased with the coupons they gave all the ADSR racers who completed their challenge. Other credits: Template by Michaele Burkart; the fonts are Starshine, Nip & Tuck, and Tale Crafter (LO1); Template by Amy Watson (LO2); Template by Teriann Hanks; the font is Love Ya Like a Sister (LO3).
There’s not much to show you in the way of freebies today, but here’s what I’ve got:

Elizabeth at Pillowgirl’s Scraps has this QP from her Berry Lime kit made by CT member Pinkupixie. |

| Candee has two Baby Love QPs, in blue and pink: | |

Raspberry Road Designs has the elements to the Flea Market Chic kit. |
Today is the first Monday without a challenge for the Amazing Digi Scrap Race.
It’s so sad. I thought I’d feel relieved that it’s over, but instead I just feel kind of lost. Not that Julie is going to let me feel lost for long. lol I’ve just taken on responsibility for doing the Stone Accents Studio newsletter and boy, do we have an amazing first issue for you! Each and every designer is making a freebie to be included, there are going to be great sales, fun games, and a chance to buy a mega kit for a ridiculously low price. Make sure you don’t miss out on a single issue and sign up at the Stone Accents Studio forum. Joining the forum makes you automatically eligible for the kit. Just make sure you have “receive email from administrator” set on your personal settings.
So speaking of the ADSR2, let me show you my final two layouts. Both were done using Grannie’s Keepsakes by Punky’s Pixels. The kit is part of her new Heritage series, so if you’re into Heritage scrapping, be sure you check it out. She’s also hosting a weekly Heritage Chat at Seaside Scraps starting on Wednesday, September 5th at 9 p.m. Eastern time. There are lots of great prizes you can win just for attending and participating in the challenges, so be sure to check it out.
WordPress is doing some updating and that has apparently affected my ability to add images into my blog. Grrr!! I had a huge freebie list for you, but I’m going to have to omit the images. You can see my race LOs on our ADSR Race blog. Sorry to have to send you somewhere else. Hopefully they’ll have the problem fixed by tomorrow.
The SAS-y Ladies have some treats for you:
Digitreats has more Back to School treats for you. You can get both the Numbers and the Alpha. The elements are coming tomorrow. While you’re there, don’t forget to grab the great September Desktop Calendar made by her CT member Cate Sforza.

Lisa has the elements to her Mystery Machine kit. Don’t wait to get it because Lisa only leaves the links for a few days.
Pillowgirl’s Scraps has a great QP made by CT member Dinphy. All I can say is wow! This really is awesome. And you can get a free Word Art kit just by participating in Elizabeth’s Easy as Pie Challenge.

Apparently I was wrong before, there is one more Garden Sibling kit – Rose available on Magdalena’s blog.

Today is the first day of school! All four kids actually woke up without a fuss, although my youngest was a bit cranky and refused to eat breakfast. I packed a granola bar in her backpack and let her teacher know it’s there in case she got hungry later. They tried to escape the annual picture taking, but I got them, ha ha! I drove them to school and took pictures of them walking to class and in the classroom with friends. This afternoon I’m going to bring the camera to the bus stop so I can get pictures of them getting off the bus. My poor kids. rofl. I’m sure I’ll have LOs to show off soon. I only got about 3 hours sleep last night though, so as soon as I get your freebie list together, I’m off to take a nap.

I finally got a chance to scrap something that wasn’t for the ADSR2. It seems like between that, stuff I’m doing for Stone Accents, and getting the kids ready for school, I’ve had absolutely no scrapping time. Here are the two LOs, from dh’s family reunion in 2005. I’m finally finished with those pictures. Phew! The kit in both is Southern Belle by Punky’s Pixels.

It’s 2 a.m. here, so I guess I can go ahead and give you the third and final template from my 100th Layout Celebration series. I made it from this LO:

The kit is Happy by Amelie Scraps. Again, I couldn’t give you her Polaroid frames (which have really cool stitching), so I made my own (without the stitching, sorry). You can get the template in 6×6 HERE and 12×12 HERE.

It’s apparently too early for any new freebies. I’m volunteering at the school’s Open House tomorrow morning. Eeek, I have to be there at 9! So I’ll probably post again in the late afternoon with whatever I find.
