Hey, I just wanted to remind everyone that our three day sale started today and runs through Sunday. I just visited the store to make sure the sale went into affect right and even I can’t believe what we’re letting these kits go for. In this economy, you’ve got to make your scrapping dollar stretch, and this sale will let you do that! Everything is included, even commercial use. The only things not on sale are the bargain bin and anything previously marked down. Here’s a list of our kits and the sale prices. If any of these are on your wish list, now’s the time to get it! You won’t see sales lower than this, our contract doesn’t allow it!
First Haircut — $1.25
All Star Movies – $2.13
Backyard Bayou — $2.25
Backyard Bayou Tomboy Add-On — $1.00
For the Birds Mega Kit — $1.63
Guido Mega Kit — $2.00
Happy Haunts — $1.63
Hug a Bug — $1.75
Kitten Kaboodle – $1.63
Pool Party Mega Kit — $1.88
Puppy Love — $2.25
Teacher’s Pet Mega Kit — $2.50
Heck, these prices are so low, you can buy our whole store for just $21.90!! I’ll tell you what I’ll do. If you do buy our whole store in one order (I’ll see it because I do the reports), I’ll give you our brand new kit, All Star Sports, FREE. It’s due to go into the store this weekend, as soon as I add a few more items I’ve been dreaming up. So if you buy our entire store, I’ll email you a coupon code to get this one free. If you already have some of our products, so you don’t need everything, email me at mom2bedc@comcast.net with the email you used to make your previous purchases. Once I verify that you paid for those other kits, I’ll send you the coupon too. Cool? That’s 13 kits (12 already in the store plus All Star Sports) for under $22, less than $2 a kit! And a peek through our store will show that our kits are larger than your average kit. I like big kits, because when I scrap I like to have a lot of choices in my papers and elements, and I hate using the same thing twice, so we create what I like to work with and throw in everything but the kitchen sink, lol. I WANT to save you money. In these tough times, we have to help each other out. So go have a good time!
I’m not supposed to do this post until 1:00 a.m. my time, but it’s been a crazy day, and I’m beat. First I had a very long wait at the courthouse to see the judge about my divorce case, only to get five minutes in which my soon to be ex-husband’s lawyer asked to reschedule. What a waste of a day! I had to rush home to finish the newsletter (which you can read here and get all the freebies: http://www.stoneaccentsstudio.com/newsletter/2008-10-29/). I should have taken all our clothes to the laundromat, because the washer is broken and the part needed to fix it isn’t coming until Friday and the laundry is piling up. Instead I went to the Barack Obama rally. We stood in line for over two hours, only to get right up to the door and be turned away because it was full. Bill Clinton was there too! I love Bill. Grrr….
We’re having a huge store-wide 50% off sale October 31st through November 2nd for DSD. This sale includes our new Happy Haunts kit (so it’ll be just $1.63!) and all commercial use products. The only things excluded are the bargain bin, because they’re already so cheap, and anything else that might be already reduced.

So anyway, on to the fun stuff. I am so in love this kit that I made for our part of the SAS-y Trick or Treat party. I wanted it to be different from Happy Haunts, because much as I love it, I wanted to play with some different colors. Diane is busy working on a kit that we’re making to create a baby shower photo book for a friend’s shower, which we’re also hosting, so I pulled this one together all by myself. Here’s the freebie preview:

If I’d had more time, I’d have asked for help naming this one. I usually have no trouble naming our kits, but this one was tough. I wanted the name to reflect the old fashioned quality of the kit. My kids were tossing around some of the silliest names when I thought of Ghost Town, both an abandoned town in the old West, and a home to spooks. And so, a kit was named. Oh, you probably want me to shut up and get to the links, right? There are two, so be sure to get both pieces.
Sorry, this goodie is no longer available.
And for the last order of business… if you want to collect even more freebies, be sure to follow the Trick or Treat trail around to the other SAS-y Ladies blogs and get their goodies too. Everyone lives in different places, so if someone doesn’t have their post up yet, be sure to check back.

I just finished the kit we’re giving away in the trick or treat blog party on Thursday and I LOVE IT! I did this one by myself; Diane’s working on another kit that we’re going to use to make a baby shower album for a friend. Since we’d just finished a Halloween kit, our Happy Haunts, I wanted something completely different to give away. I’m not going to show you, even though I’m dying to. You’ll just have to stop back on Thurday and Trick or Treat through the SAS-y blogs to get it and all the free goodies the SAS-y Ladies have for you.
But since you’re here, I will show you our Happy Haunts kit. All our products are on sale 35% off this week, so this one is just $2.11.

You can get Happy Haunts and all our other products 35% off in our store:

Since I can’t give you the freebie I just finished until Thursday, I’m bringing back one of my first elements ever. I looked it over, thinking I’d want to change things now that I’ve gained more experience, but I still love it. The only thing I should have changed was the preview, but I didn’t save the PSP document for it. This wreath used to hang on my front door at Halloween. Unfortunately it’s in storage this year, along with all our other Halloween stuff. The zip files come with both the wreath and the pumpkins individually, so you can use them alone if that’s what you want.

And here’s the link to get it:

Don’t forget Thursday!! It’s going to be a freebie bonanza with the SAS-y Ladies.

My freebie is on page 11, but while you’re there be sure to look around. There are 7 other newsletter exclusive freebies (meaning you can only get them in the newsletter) AND links to 27 more, for a total of 35 freebies!

Phew! I finally finished another kit. It seems like forever since we’ve had something for you. If you read my post from a few days ago, you’ll know we’ve got some exciting things coming your way this month. The next kit I need to finish, and make some goodies from, is our Halloween kit. But we’re also participating in the Second Annual SAS-y Trick or Treat blog party, and I’m planning on making something completely stand alone, and not related to any of our existing kits, for you, our blog readers. So stay tuned and keep checking back, because we’ve got some great stuff heading your way.
Today, I have a four piece brag book for you from First Haircut. Just right to scrap that important first moment in your child’s life, First Haircut is still versatile enough to scrap any major hair event. Beauty school graduation? Got a new ‘do? This kit has a little something for everyone.
This kit comes with 15 papers, uppercase alpha, 1 “first curl” box, 2 hair bows, 3 floral hair ties, 2 barrettes, 2 combs, 2 sani jars (1 empty, 1 full), 1 mirror, 2 frames, 1 clipper, 2 razors, 2 scissors, 2 hats, 1 hair dryer, 1 wire, 3 sets stitches, 1 barber chair, 2 barber poles, 1 barber shop sign, and 1 decorative element.
At 15 papers, 32 elements, and an alpha, this kit is full-sized by any normal standards. But, for us, it’s a bit small, so we’ve priced it to reflect it’s size in comparison to our other, huge, mega kits. You can get it for just $2.50, exclusively at SAS. In the zip files for the free brag book pages, you’ll find a coupon that will give you an additional 20% off the kit through October 31st, making it just $2.
Here are the kit previews:

And here’s a look at your freebie. It’s split into two files again. You can get two of the pages right here and now. The second two will be in Wednesday’s SAS newsletter. I’ll post the link to that just as soon as I finish writing it.

Here’s a closer up look at two of the pages:

Check back because I’ll have the newsletter link for you some time on Wednesday.

I’m sorry. I know it’s been too long since we’ve had a freebie for you. I got sick towards the end of the SAS-y Birthday Bash and now Diane has it. It takes a toll on the creativity. We have some new things in the works though. The first on the schedule is to finally finish our First Haircut kit. We started this a while back, around the same time as Puppy Love, but other projects kept pulling our attention (okay my attention) instead. So I’m bound and determined to get this finished this week. You know what that means… goodies for you. Want a sneak peek?
This is our nephew Aaron getting his first haircut at Walt Disney World. They not only give you a certificate, but also a set of mouse ears, and the price is very reasonable too. It was so much fun! It was also the inspiration for this kit, because I couldn’t find a First Haircut kit that I liked, not even to buy.

Next up after this, I need to finish up Happy Haunts, our Halloween kit. Of course we’ll have some goodies for you from that too.
In SAS-y news, we’re getting ready for our second annual Trick or Treat blog party to be held on October 30-31st. Hooray! Halloween is one of my favorite holiday. I think I may have to come up with something completely unique for you for that. So needless to say, I’ve got a lot to do in a few short weeks.
I want to leave you with the link to the SAS newsletter. There are some great freebies in there.

Okay, one final thing and I’ll leave you alone. I went on a job interview on Wednesday, only my second since I’ve been looking for a job. I really need this! So if you’re the praying type, I’d appreciate if you could say one for me.
Have a good day. I’ll be back, maybe even as early as tonight, with some goodies for you.
